Vidyanjali Dancers Perform at IF-NET Diwali Ball 2019

.The Vidyanjali Dancers of New England presented the Rock Thillana - a pure Bharatanatyam Thillana to fusion music - at the IF-NET Diwali Ball event on November 2, 2019 in Newton. The music was the Dhanashree Thillana by Carnatic Progressive Rock band Agam. Choreographed by Anandini Chandra Sekhar, the item was inspired by the work of Guru Smt. Sudha Chandra Sekhar of Hindu Temple Rhythms. The participants were Anusha Chakravarthy, Reeya Wadhwani, Anika Chakravarthy, Aanika Seth Mohta and Jaya DeLong from the Vidyanjali Dance School's intermediate class in Newton.
